Terms of Use

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Welcome to Mappie. These terms are the agreement between you and Mappie ("we", "us") when you use our website and tools. We have tried to keep them short and readable. By using Mappie, you agree to them.

1. What Mappie is, and what it is not

Mappie helps you turn your own medical records into an organized summary and a shareable PDF. It is an informational and organizational tool.

Mappie is not a doctor, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing it produces is a substitute for the judgment of a licensed healthcare professional. Always talk to your provider about medical decisions, and call your local emergency number in an emergency. AI can make mistakes, so please review your summary and do not rely on it as your only source of truth.

2. Your records and your responsibility

By uploading documents, you confirm that:

You are responsible for how you use and share the summaries you create.

3. How your data is handled

Your files are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to us. Only the extracted text is sent to our AI provider to generate your summary, and we do not store your records. The full details are in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

4. Reports and payments

Viewing your summary is free. Downloading a watermark-free PDF export is a paid feature. Prices are shown before you buy, and payments are processed by Stripe. Because each report costs us real processing to generate, purchases are generally non refundable once an export has been unlocked, but if something went wrong on our end, email us and we will make it right. We may change pricing over time, and any change applies only to future purchases.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse Mappie. That means no attempting to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, no using it for anything unlawful, and no uploading content you have no right to upload.

6. Service "as is"

We work hard to make Mappie useful and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the output will be complete, error free, or fit for any particular purpose. Your use of Mappie is at your own discretion and risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mappie and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any medical, financial, or other decisions made based on the tool's output. If we are found liable for anything despite the above, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

8. Changes and ending access

We may update these terms as the product grows. We will post changes here and update the date. We may also suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the service. You can stop using Mappie at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
